All Apple Cabs taxis have digital cab meters integrated with the GPS system, facilitating transparency in fares and eliminating the possibility of over-charging by the chauffer.

Terms and Conditions for usage of services of APPLE CABS PRIVATE LIMITED (APPLE CABS)

The Customer agrees that these terms and conditions shall be deemed to apply when the Customer avails the Radio Taxi Services and Rent-a- Cab Services provided by the Apple Cabs.

In these terms and conditions:

  1. The Apple Cabs shall mean Apple Cabs Private Limited.
  2. Customer means a person who is a customer of Apple Cabs; who contacts The Apple Cabs to use its Radio Taxi Services and Rent - a - Cab Services.
  3. Services shall mean taxi services provided by the Apple Cabs
  4. Driver shall mean the driver who drives the taxi.
  5. The Customer is aware that this website is only for the convenience and use of the general public. By accessing and using the information contained in this Website, you shall be deemed to have agreed to comply with and be bound by the terms of use contained herein, which may be updated and amended from time to time.
  6. The Customer agrees and accepts that the use of the Services provided by the Apple Cabs is at the sole risk of the Customer, and further acknowledges that the Apple Cabs disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  7. The Customer shall ensure that he/she will not indulge in any of the following activities while in a taxi:
    • Smoking or consuming any kind of intoxicants inside the Taxi. The Driver has the right to refuse the pick-up or ask the customer to alight the cab if the customer is found to be in an intoxicated state or is found misbehaving with other passengers or the Driver.
    • Littering the Taxi
    • Soiling or damaging the seats and/or any other interiors of the Taxi.
    • Misusing, soiling or damaging any of the devices (technical/non-technical) in the taxi.
    • Asking the Driver to break any Traffic/RTO/City Police and/or government rules for any purpose (especially reaching the destination earlier). The Driver has the right to refuse such a request by the customer. The Driver also has the right to refuse such a pick-up or ask such customer(s) to alight the cab.
    • Asking the Driver to board more than 4 adults in the taxi. The rules under which the taxi services are provided by the Apple Cabs, stipulate that a maximum of 4 adult passengers shall be allowed per trip. In view of this, the customer shall not pressurize the Driver to allow more than 4 adult passengers in the taxi. The Driver has the right to refuse such a pick-up or ask such customer(s) to alight the cab.
    • Pressurizing the Driver to overload the boot space of the taxi with luggage. The customer shall not be allowed to use the seating area of the taxi for placing any kind of luggage.
  8. The Customer agrees and accepts that the Apple Cabs will be under no liability or responsibility for any losses or damages arising out of the use of the Services as offered by the Apple Cabs. The Customers shall be fully responsible of their belongings when travelling on board any of Apple Cabs taxis. In the event they lose/misplace their belongings during a trip with the Apple Cabs taxi, the Apple Cabs will try on best-effort basis to locate the belongings, but will not be held responsible for any losses or damages to any of the items.
  9. The Customer agrees that the Taxi in which he/she is travelling will allowed to being tracked using GPS technology. This shall be used for the sole purpose of ensuring the security of the vehicle and its occupants.
  10. The Apple Cabs cannot be held liable inter alia for any of the following reasons:
    1. for booking requests made at the contact centre and on the website, which are subject to availability of cabs;
    2. for any direct or indirect loss/damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of non-fulfillment of the booking requests made at the contact centre and on the website or any other booking channel authorized by the Apple Cabs
    3. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of any failure by The Apple Cabs to provide a taxi to the Customer within any stipulated time.
    4. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of computer breakdown or failure of telecommunications networks preventing access to online services;
    5. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of strikes and demonstrations by the Drivers of the Cabs;
    6. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of bad weather;
    7. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of traffic congestion;
    8. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of any accidents;
    9. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of failure of the Driver to turn up to pick up the Customer;
    10. for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of force majeure events.
    11. for transactional messages sent on mobile numbers provided to us during booking; which might be listed on any/all Do Not Call registries.
    12. for failure to provide infotainment or any other services inside the cab, advertised or offered in any form of communication, as this is a complimentary value addition and not mandatory from RTO.
  11. The Customer shall always pay taxi fares (as displayed in the meter), waiting charges, parking charges, additional night surcharge and any fee or levy presently payable or hereinafter imposed by the law or required to be paid for availing of the taxi services, without any demur or protest. The toll charges will be payable by customer as applicable, only when the customer is travelling in Taxi & crosses the toll post, without any demur or protest.
  12. The Apple Cabs, is entitled to cancel/terminate the cab bookings done by a particular Customer/corporate client, with or without prior notice
  13. The Customer undertakes and agrees to indemnify the Apple Cabs, and keep the Apple Cabs indemnified from and against and in respect of any or all liabilities, losses, charges and expenses (including legal fees and costs on a full indemnify basis) claims, demands, actions and proceedings which The Apple Cabs may incur or sustain directly or indirectly from or by any reason of or in relation to the use or purposed use of Services and shall pay such sums on demand.
  14. All intellectual property rights subsisting in the contents of this website belong to The Apple Cabs and/or the respective third party proprietors identified in this website. These works on this site are protected by copyright laws and/or other laws. Therefore, no part of parts hereof may be reproduced, broadcast or transmitted in any manner of by any means or stored in an information retrieval system without the written permission of The Apple Cabs.
  15. The validity of these terms and conditions shall be governed and in force in accordance with the laws of India and the Courts in Ahmedabad shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  16. The Apple Cabs website is continuously updated and checked for inaccuracies, omissions and inconsistencies. However, even with the greatest care, inaccuracies, omissions and inconsistencies may occur. The Apple Cabs does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of this information and materials and expressly disclaims liability for errors or omissions in such information and materials. The Apple Cabs does not represent or warrant that the information and content on this site, or the facilities that make it available, will not cause damage, or are free from any computer virus or any other defects or errors, or that your access to this site will be uninterrupted or that your transmissions will be processed in a timely manner. The Apple Cabs is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this content and information.
  17. The Apple Cabs shall have the right at any time to change or modify the terms and conditions applicable to the Customers use of the this website, or any part thereof, or to impose new conditions, including but not limited to, adding fees and charges for use. Such changes, modifications, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately upon posting of such changes on this website. Any use of this website by the Customer after such posting shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by the Customer of such changes, modifications or additions


About Booking Process

Q. How do I book an Apple cab ?
Booking an Apple Cab is a very simple process. You can either book it through our website www.applecabs.in or by calling our 24/7 Call centre at +91 79 4900 4900.

Through Website
  1. Log on to our website www.applecabs.in
  2. If you have not registered on our website for online booking of cabs, please register with your Name, Mobile Number & Email ID by clicking on "I am New Here" and fill the required details in the registration form.
  3. Once you click register, you will receive an activation link on your registered email ID & password via SMS on your registered Mobile Number. Please click on the activation link to complete the registration process.
  4. Now you can login to our website with your Mobile Number and the Password.
  5. Select your preferred pickup date and time.
  6. Select your preferred Pick-up Zone, Sub-Zone and fill in your address and landmark.
  7. Select your preferred Drop Zone, Sub-Zone and fill in your address and landmark.
  8. Fill in Number of Cabs required.
  9. Click on the Book button to book the cab. You will receive a Temporary Booking ID.
  10. Our Call Centre Executive will give you a call confirming your booking details
  11. You will receive an SMS regarding the cab and driver details 40 minutes prior to your pick-up.

  1. You can book an Apple Cab by calling us on +91 79 4900 4900
  2. As soon as you call, our operator will guide you through the booking process in your preferred language.
  3. SMS with booking ID will be sent to you immediately.
  4. Prior to 40 mins you will receive a sms with all the details like the vehicle number, driver's name and his mobile number.

Q. Can I book an Apple Cab without paying ?
Yes, your driver will collect the payment from you only after completion of your journey. You don't have to pay in advance to book an Apple Cab.

Q. Is there a charge for booking on the phone / web?
No, there is no charge for booking an Apple Cab if you book through our call centre or by visiting our website www.applecabs.in.

Q. What are the timings for the Apple Cab services?
Apple Cabs Services are available 24 x 7 for our customers.

Q. Can I hail a cab on the road?
Of course, and if the Apple Cab is not occupied, we will be more than happy to get you on board. If the Taxi Top is glowing red, it means the cab is engaged. If it is blue, he is available and ready to serve you.

Q. Can I use the cab without flagging down the meter?
We track every fare that the Apple cab is taking at our Technology Centre and actively dissuade our chauffeurs from taking an un-metered fare. Moreover, if you have a complaint against the chauffeur, you would not have a valid printed receipt at the end of your journey to make a valid complaint.

Q. In which cities is the Apple Service currently available?
Apple Cabs service is now available in Ahmedabad. We expect to start operations in other major cities soon.

Q. Can I cancel a booking made?
Our system of handling bookings is automated and once your journey is confirmed by our Customer Service Centre, a cab is assigned to report to you. We do understand that sometimes, plans change and you may need to cancel a booking. Please tell us as soon as you reasonably can- that you would like to cancel a booking so that we can avoid an Apple cab reporting to you, when you don't need it.

About Apple Cabs charges and payments

Q. What is the fare that I will be charged?
You will have to pay fares for distance travelled, waiting charges, if any and a night surcharge, as applicable, if you are availing the service during night time between 11:00 p.m and 5:59 a.m.

Q. Can I hail a cab on the road?
Yes , the charges for waiting time while the meter is flagged on will be applicable.

Q. Do I have to pay toll charge when I travel through Apple Cab?
  • Yes, you will be paying 'Toll charge', when you are crossing the toll post while travelling through Apple Cabs.
  • No, when you booked the Apple cabs and the cab is crossing the toll post while coming to pick you up.

Q. How do I pay after the completion of my trip?
You can pay the chauffeur in cash as per the fare on the meter with extras if any (for waiting or night surcharge) and a printed receipt for the same will be given to you. Please always insist on the printed receipt.

Q. Will I get a printed receipt for the amount paid?
Always. Please insist on it. Our chauffeurs are trained to give the receipt for every fare they collect. If by oversight this is missed, please ask for a receipt

About Lost & Found and feedback on our services

Q. What do I do if I have left something behind in an Apple Cab?
Please call our Customer Service Centre at +91 4900 4900 and give us the details of the cab number, date and time of travel (all this information is there on your printed fare receipt) and we will help you track down your missing item. Apple chauffeurs are trained to report items left behind in a cab. So if you tell us the details of your commute, it makes it easy for us to link you with your missing item! We will ensure that we return your missed items if found in cab. You can also report loss or missed item by visiting our website and filling up the Lost and Found form.

Q. What if any driver misbehaves with me or driver drives in a rash manner.
All our drivers have been thoroughly trained about how to behave with customers also have been given strict instructions of not to drive in a rash manner. However we are always open for your feedback, if you have any complaints about any particular driver. You can register your complaint by calling us on our call centre number 4900 4900 else fill us the feedback form by visiting our website www.applecabs.in. Give us the details of your booking which are already mentioned on your billed receipt. We ensure you to look into the matter and take the appropriate action at earliest.
